Nanoscale current modulation in [Pr.sub.0.7][Ca.sub.0.3]Mn[O.sub.3] thin films
Article Abstract:
A report on microscopic electrical properties of [Pr.sub.0.7][Ca.sub.0.3]Mn[O.sub.3] (PCMO) thin films is presented. The conducting atomic force microscopy (CAFM) studies of resistance-changing PCMO thin films found that many different resistance levels and the electrical retention behavior observed and the local CAFM data shows that the intragrain current modulation originates from the electrical inhomogeneous nature such as nanoscale phase separation and nanoscale strain relaxation.

Olympic ring formation from newly prepared barium hexaferrite nanoparticle suspension
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to analyze novel features of amorphous BaFe12O19 nanoparticles obtained by a sonochemical decomposition method. The barion hexaferrite was determined as a colloidal solution without using a surfactant. The amorphous as-prepared particles were superparamagnetic in nature. The presence of intersecting rings were correlated to the interplay of magnetic forces with the regular particle-substrate reactions.

MnO octahedral nanocrystals and MnO@C core-shell composites: Synthesis, characterization, and electrocatalytic properties
Article Abstract:
A simple and facile synthesis of MnO octahedral nanocrystals and core-shell composite nanoparticles is presented. The preliminary oxygen reduction activity of the MnO composite electrode shows higher specific current density than bulk MnO in alkaline aqueous solutions.
